At this time I have the ability to provide you with cloth and/or leather for the cover. Wood and tinwork for the cover is also available by special request.
Please select the specific color and type for the cloth or leather and I will do what I can to make it available. This may involve order time if the color you select is out of stock in the shop. Thank you for your patience.
Wood. I can do wooden covers by special request, however, the cost will vastly increase and the results will vary.
Leather is also by request, and you will need to choose the color and communicate that to me before work begins.
At this time I do not do gold leaf work or lettering of any kind.
By preference I use American-sourced materials wherever possible.
Buckram
Buckram is a poly-cotton book cloth material that is very durable. It has a heavy grain to it with a washable surface. Buckram is the most common material used by professional libraries and is sometimes referred to as F-grade, or Roxite.
